Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining the organisation's financial records and ensuring smooth day-to-day accounting operations. Your responsibilities will include:

Maintaining accurate financial records and bookkeeping entries

Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions

Performing bank, credit card, and supplier reconciliations

Managing data entry including invoices and purchase orders

Assisting with payroll processing and superannuation payments

Maintaining petty cash and supporting general ledger activities

Supporting month-end and year-end reporting processes

Managing financial documentation and filing systems

Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve account queries

Assisting external accountants and auditors as required

Ensuring compliance with financial policies and relevant regulations

What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will bring:

Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounts administration

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures

High level of attention to detail and accuracy

Strong numerical and analytical skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
